Private psychological services do not require a referral from a physician so clients are welcome to contact Dr. Elliott directly regarding services. Referring physicians and other professionals with established client relationships play very important roles in empowering clients to engage in therapy and other healthy activities for themselves. A team approach is helpful for most clients, so Dr. Elliott will try to confirm receipt of referrals and provide first appointment dates if possible. When it makes sense for client care, Dr. Elliott will also provide brief consultation for referring parties with client consent.
